You can get this excellent view from the Chureito Pagoda in Japan. I rented a car from Hakone and drove to this particular spot to catch Japan's sacred mountain with my own lens. I went during autumn so the trees were all sorts of different shades which really made the atmosphere that much more special. Mt. Fuji is the pride of Japan and not seeing at least a glimpse of it would be a mistake.
