One of my favorite places was the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, which sits just north of the Icelandic capital of Reykjavik. You can see waterfalls and lighthouses and churches here. This particular church is called Ingjaldshólskirkja, with its vibrant red roof. I thought it was a gorgeous subject to photograph, amidst the cloudy and blue sky, and the earthy green and brown landscape.
